Assistant Teacher

Job Summary:

Zam Zam Point International School & College is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to support the lead teacher in delivering high-quality education in a dynamic and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will assist with classroom management, lesson implementation, and student engagement while contributing to the academic and personal development of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher in delivering lessons based on the school’s curriculum.
• Help prepare classroom materials, activities, and resources.
• Support individual and group instruction under the direction of the lead teacher.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
• Assist in maintaining a positive and organized classroom environment.
• Supervise students during breaks, lunch, and school events.
• Provide one-on-one support to students who need extra help.
• Attend and contribute to staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.
• Maintain student confidentiality and uphold school policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience in a teaching or assistant teaching role is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English and/or Bangla depending on class requirements.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Passion for education and child development.
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, email, educational tools).
• Ability to manage time and multitask effectively.
• Interest in continuous learning and teaching innovation.
